Anna and Daniel Chase~

Hello Everyone!

I hope you all have had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Filled with family, friends, food, games and more food! This year I am especially grateful for all the wonderful opportunities I've had in my life. I'm really incredibly blessed. Around a mouth ago I got asked to photograph a wedding. What a awesome opportunity! I thought about it for a couple days and then tripped outside of my comfort zone and said "I would love to"!

And two weeks later I went to Medford.

We woke up to a beautiful fall day. To spite the 100% rain forecast the sun was shining down from a vibrant blue sky dotted with white and gray clouds. It was the first wedding I had ever booked. And I was incredibly excited and nervous. I was so excited to be able to photograph such a wonderful couple on their wedding day. And nervous because I really didn't want to mess this up. I can't say everything went as I planed but it was a great day. So after a week of recuperating and lots of editing I would like to share some photos with all of you!

 The beautiful bride.

 The gorgeous girls.

And all the good looking gents.

 The fearsome foursome~

Details...

The happy couple.

These are just a few of many... More should be showing up on Facebook as they are edited.
I hope you all have a fabulous Saturday!

Daniel and T'awna engagement photo shoot~

Its been a really long time since I've posted anything here, in fact my last post was in May. So so so much has happened since May. I  can't even began to describe it all. So instead I will share some pictures from the first engagement photo shoot I've ever attempted! I was so nervous but everything worked out. It was especially cool because it was for my brother Daniel and his fiance T'awna. They were so much fun to work with, they did everything I asked them to and so much more. It was wonderful to be able to capture the're love for each other. We ended up with some really sweet moments and also some hilarious ones. (Feel free to comment on what you like or don't like about the photos.)

My favorite photo of the day. :)

The beautiful ring...

This picture just makes me smile!

I'll try to post a few more pictures from the summer soon.

Have a fabulous day~

The Sun...

Hello everyone!

Last night I went on a walk with some of my sisters and a friend. We walked down on some trail near our house. As we strolled by the river the sun was just positioned right to get some great sun stars (I've been obsessed with them sense I first saw one a few years ago).

The Sun is the star at the center of the Solar System. It is almost perfectly spherical and consists of hot plasma interwoven with magnetic fields. It has a diameter of about 1,392,000 km, about 109 times that of Earth, and its mass (about 2×1030 kilograms, 330,000 times that of Earth) accounts for about 99.86% of the total mass of the Solar System. Chemically, about three quarters of the Sun's mass consists of hydrogen, while the rest is mostly helium. The remainder (1.69%, which nonetheless equals 5,628 times the mass of Earth) consists of heavier elements, including oxygen, carbon, neon and iron, among others. (Taken form Wikipedia)

We rely on the sun for a lot of things. Light, warmth, energy. With out the sun plants wouldn't grow. The sun is an amazing thing. But if the suns so great than it just makes me wonder how much greater is the one who designed it. We have these awesome creations around us every day but its good to stop and think about what it all means. I know that I would be better of if i did that more often.

In Hebrews 1:3 it says "The Son (Jesus) is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being..."

Psalm 113:3
From the rising of the sun to the place where it sets,
the name of the Lord is to be praised.

Hope all of you have an amazing day!~

SPRING!

Spring is finally here people! If any of you live or have ever been to Oregon then you know that the weather here is well... interesting. This winter we got very little snow in the Willamette valley. Then on the second day of spring we got 8-5 inches of snow! For us that's quite a bit of snow. We had fun playing in it, sledding down some small his in front of our house, having snowball fights, and making snow candy with our Grandma. On the day after we had gotten all of this lovely snow I decided to go for a short walk and grab a few pictures. I hope you have as much fun looking at them as I did taking them.

From here on down are a few I took before the snow.

Have a great day everyone~

A Mini Photo Shoot!

A few weeks ago I got to spend the day (or rather the morning) at my friends house. It was way to much fun, running all over their 5 acres of property, climbing in to a blackberry bush fort and of course having a mini photo shoot! :) We made a few paper signs and used a few props which were quite fun! My friend Laura and her brother Micheal were really nice and modeled for me!

Laura!

I took my turn in front of the camera even though I much prefer being behind it! ;) (and the glasses are fake)

Handsome dude!

Love those eyes!

There's the real smile!

Gangsta..

Such a beauty!

Hope you enjoyed these~

Have a fantastic day!
